Responses from Deb:
ReplyDelete- Emails through the website get answered by Anne, Soozin, and myself.
- I don't understand this note "Booking should include email and Facebook" but I feel pretty strongly that booking requests should NOT be made via Facebook. Only chaos will come from that.
- If the Chicks would like to do Open Streets as a charity gig this year - - - I'm coordinating the Franklin Ave. event on Sunday, August 21st and would be DELIGHTED to have Chicks On Sticks. The hours are 11am-5pm. We could pick our hours. **Technically the deadline to sign up is 7/22 (the day after our next meeting).** If you're interested, generally speaking, maybe send me a note so I can report that in advance of the meeting to aid in the conversation.
-If we're going to add new chicks, that decision is supposed to be made in January, not mid-year. I don't know how that slipped this year, and it doesn't appear from the notes that the Survey Monkey results were ever reviewed. But I don't think we want to add new Chicks just to attend meetings. I don't see a problem with a few dedicated Chicks tending to the admin needs of our group that are good at it. People can come and go as they're able year to year (like me and Anne), and no one has to feel bad about trying to commit when they really aren't able to. Too many cooks in the kitchen is a bigger danger, I should think.
